There are several ways to put your truck or trucks to work here is some insight
| Owner operators with a small number
or trucks and trailers will most likely have to sub lease under companies
like Deer Valley Trucking , BOH, Avery, Wylee Vise just to name a
few . Deals rates and pay schedules will vary . Some go as
far as having you run under there insurance authority ect , and each will
take a percentage of the money generated . Many offer factoring or taking
an additional percentage to pay the truck more often and finance said money
waiting on the 45 to 60 day cycle with the actual oil companies .
Some try to help there lease trucks with repair shops ect but for the most part be prepared to maintain and keep you trucks running by daily inspections and some do it yourself repair work . The oil field is a tough environment and requires that tough get the job done attitude, witch is rewarded with very high rates of return. Owners with larger numbers of
trucks and trailers 15 or more can negotiate contracts directly
with the oil companies, take your pick , almost every oil company around
has flocked to the Bauckin for the rich oil field and opportunities there
for many many years to come . The oil companies like to negotiate with
larger companies the more trucks the better , and beings able to commit
to service several well sites with one trucking company makes there job
easier. With the volatility of the stock market and poor return on many
other types of investing there are welthy people around the country stepping
up with private investment money going after the returns in the oil trucking
industry. These type of people are looking for men with the right stuff
and truck experience to be on the ground in ND and make then trucks RUN
HARD. Players in this larger game have to many times make a move. Some
oil companies due to the demand issues with getting equipment may not contract
until you have the trucks and trailers in place and are ready to go work
no BS. Talk is cheep and in this industry you are only as good as WHAT
you do and how well you do it, no entitlement here its that good old work
for what you get, that unfortunately much of or country is sorely lacking
. If you want to get cheered up take a trip to the bauckin and see opportunity
everywhere you look. With the demand for equipment don't wait to long ,
it takes time to get the pieces in place to get up and runnin and the longer
you wait the more guys with the balls to make it happen have gotten in
front of you . Right now Nov 2011 many companies are gearing up looking
to add as many as 600 trucks to get the money flowing GET YOUR PIECE .
There are lots of wells drilled just waiting to be fracked and start pumpin
oil , the lack of rail transport and trucks have slowed em down . Two new
100 rail car ( that's a lot of truckin ) loading spurs are going live in
Nov and 2 more right behind it . Pipe line take time to get approved and
time to build bettin men say its goin to take a lot of truck for many many
years to move all that oil ( estimates are 24 BILLION barrels .

There is TWICE as much oil than Prudhoe Bay Alaska 24 BILLION
barrels estimated in ND
What kind of money does a truck make in ND Aprox rates Oct 2011 Frack water trailer and truck aprox $ 130.00 per hour leasing
company will take a cut
A GREAT Investment Many find they can work hard and pay off the investment in equipment
in 6 to 8 months
